  • Natalie Stipanovic

Natalie Stipanovic, Ph.D. is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She is an assistant professor at the University of Louisville in the Department of Educational & Counseling Psychology. Dr. Stipanovic has over 10 years of experience in psychology and counseling and has worked with a both adults and children. Her central focus is on children and adolescents and issues related behavior disorders, learning disabilities, alcohol and drug usage/addiction, and clinical issues (e.g. depression, anxiety).

Dr. Stipanovic’s counseling philosophy is that a whole-person, systemic approach is necessary for effective treatment and change. This means that for individuals to be successful in overcoming diversity we must be comprehensive in our approach (cognition, behavior, emotions, health, etc.) and we cannot solely rely on individual treatment—in that family, school/work, and social interventions are necessary for change.

  • John Warner

Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 1993, and I am currently working on a Ph. D. in Psychology from Capella University. I currently hold LCSW licenses in Kentucky and Indiana and have over ten years experience treating substance abuse and mental illness disorders in adolescents and adults. My specialty is treating co-occurring disorders of addiction and mental illness, as well as anger management, and I am currently designing a dual diagnosis program for a local mental health agency, as well as an Anger Management program offered exclusively at Frager Associates.

Addiction and mental illness disorders are devastating conditions that affect not only the individual suffering from the disorder but their families friends, and others concerned about the turmoil that results from these disorders. My philosophy is to help the client understand their disorder, as well as to recognize triggers that may result in relapse into their addiction and/or mental illness disorder, and to design a Recovery plan that will give the client skills and resources to develop a more healthy lifestyle and to recognize warning signs of relapse. I also believe that clients have greater success in Recovery when they develop and maintain a strong support system for their Recovery Program. If you feel that you or a loved one is suffering from addiction and/or mental illness, please contact me for an appointment. I also strongly encourage you or your loved ones to contact me if you would like to join our Anger Management Group. There is hope for you or your loved one and it is never too late to make the call. I look forward to working with you
